I'm Back - My Materinity Uniform

Guys I am back! Ahhh how I've missed blogging!!! It is sooo hard in the first few months of pregnancy to feel motivated to get anything done. I'm finally feeling back to my self :)

This whole pregnancy thing is totally new to me. It's obviously my first, but no one in my family, and none of my friends have kids yet. So I am learning how this whole thing works with the help of google and some mommy communities. Seriously though, there is so much I didn't know!!

First Trimester
This trimester is rough, for a few reasons, the exhaustion, the nausea but mostly because of all of the waiting!! We found out I was pregnant at 6 weeks, and we rushed to tell family, but we wanted to wait for a huge announcement until my first doctors appointment at 12 weeks! That was the longest 6 weeks ever. Next you have to wait every 4 weeks for the next appointment, as much as I hate the doctor I love hearing the heartbeat so that wait is killer.

The exhaustion. oh my. No one told me all I would want to do is sleep during the first trimester. I'm a late night person and literally couldn't stay up past 10. The hubs loved it though, we got lots of sleep!

The nausea. I knew it was coming, and in all honesty it wasn't terrible. Only threw up a few times. But the constant hunger and food aversions were funny. We literally ate out the first few weeks. All I would eat was cheese quesadillas, grilled cheese, or mac and cheese. That was it. No meat, just cheese!

Second Trimester
Being in the second trimester is the most exciting thing! Finally telling people, not hiding the hideous bloat, but showing off a nice round bump! Buying maternity clothes, some people hate this, I just love my maternity clothes they make me happy :) The cravings! Oh my the cravings. I have literally gotten up and left work to go buy oreos because I couldn't take it anymore. I'm loving sweets, cookies, candy, gushers, fruit roll ups. Way better than the salty lol. Now we are just patiently waiting until week 20 when we found out if its a boy or girl!!! ahh!

Check out that bump! Haha.  I have been living in these clothes, this sweater from TJ Maxx is the most comfortable thing ever. Basically pairing a big sweater with a maternity tank and maternity pants is my go to :) So glad Kristen from Everything's Always Sunny could meet up after work and snag a few pics. this girl rocks :)

Happy Weekend Loves!!

I am SO excited for you! I never really experienced much exhaustion but had lots of food aversions. I hated chicken for whatever reason. It was just so bland to me. I really only wanted to eat ice cream the whole time I was pregnant, haha. And donuts. Lots of boston creme donuts. :)
