Firmoo Sunglasses

Enjoy the First Ray of Sunshine in Spring 2013

Firmoo recently asked me if I'd be willing to post some content on my blog about their latest products. I accepted because I am more than happy to share a new website and great deal with my readers! Awhile back they sent me a pair of glasses to wear and "test out" currently they are my favorite pair! So I thought I would share with you their latest deal for sunglasses, since spring break season is coming up!

"With the sun shining and the weather really starting to heat up, it's time to grab some new
sunglasses. You can go for a conservative retro-chic look or something totally wild and colorful.
Summer is coming so you will get a little more freedom than usual. Embrace it. Yes, Sunglasses
have been a wide application around all groups of people. The main reason is that sunglasses
play an important role in UV radiation protection. Indeed, millions of people around the world
benefit a lot from the sunglasses.

In comparison, wraparound sunglasses are better choice for sunglasses because of their wraparound design. First, they will offer better eye protection by preventing UV rays from more than one angle, the front and
the sides. Second, they can shield wind or other fine articles from reaching your eyes and cling
firmly to your face. Third, they can make your face look smaller. Fourth, they will protect the
skin around your eyes by covering larger parts of your face with their distinct shapes. All and
all, these features undoubtedly make wrap round sunglasses an ideal choice for you to enjoy
comfort and fashion at the same time.

But for the people who have vision problems, a pair of sunglasses is not enough. In this case,
prescription sunglasses can provide an excellent service. Nowadays, prescription sunglasses have attracted more and more people and played an important role in our life. They are specially designed for people with myopia, hyperopia or presbyopia. Stylish prescription sunglasses not only provide you with a clearer
vision but more importantly they put you in a position of fashion and vogue. If you have to wear
prescription glasses and want to wear sunglasses, stylish prescription sunglasses are the very
item you can lay your hands on.

Where will you get sunglasses? Purchasing online may be a better choice. You can buy the high-
quality sunglasses at wholesale prices. The latest styles and designs will make you outstanding
among the public. Firmoo should be one of your better choices.

Firmoo.com is the world's most popular online eyeglasses store. Years of expertise
in optical industry enable Firmoo.com to offer varieties of prescription eyewear to the
consuming public in high quality yet at extremely affordable prices. The low prices in
Firmoo.com never compromise the quality of eyewear while treating the quality and
services to consumers as top priority.

Enjoy fashion & comfort at the same time. Now is the brightest time to buy sunglasses!"

Oh Happy Day

These past two weeks since I last posted have been some awesome, and strange weeks!

Both my brother and sister are now engaged, which is super exciting news for our family! Lots of planning coming up!  Congrats to them both :)

Last week the husband was gone at a conference, and although I was going to post a ton with all my "free time" it's strange with him not around. I tried to make as many plans as possible and when I didn't have plans I stayed at work late, grocery shopped and watched a lot of tv lol just to keep my mind off the fact that I was home alone! Since we moved into our new house in August it was my first time home alone, and we had some ridiculous miss-haps at our last apartment (drunk people trying to break in in the middle of the night!) I was a little on edge :(

Also how come it's still snowing? The lack of inspiration I have when all the blogs I read are posting new "spring outfits" and I still have to wear boots and mittens on my drive to work! Anyone else having this issue?

I always plan to take an outfit shot when I get home but all inspiration is lost after I cook dinner and I just want to sit down lol. And my weekends are usually for blog photos but this past week we did mad demolition in the basement, which was so rewarding and exciting!

Even though I don't have pictures of me in outfits I figure you all love a lil inspiration (i know I do!)

Black and White.

I adore the color black. It is my favorite color in my wardrobe! This weekend I was at Marshalls and I snagged 3 things....all of them, black.

A few weekends ago I went to an art show at our local modern art museum, UICA. You could walk around and bid on artwork that was made there during the show! My mom and I decided to go "funky" (yes we are "too" hip) this year instead of fancy. So I of course threw on my favs...black and white (outfit coming soon to the blog).

Well the week after I kept seeing posts about the new spring trend "Black and White" (Marrionberry even did a "trend of the month" on it here) I almost died with excitement.  I have been so busy the past few weeks that I haven't spent much time reading blogs or fashion sites, so honestly I had no idea. Below are some of my favorite looks, and you can be sure you will be seeing this trend mad amounts this spring (since its about 50% of my closet)! Also check out previous b&w looks by yours truly here, here, here and here.

Campus Book Rental.

Happy Saturday Morning!

I don't often post on Saturday's but when I do it is to cue you in on a new site or store for that online shopping guru!

Have you heard of Campus Book Rentals? This is where I rented most of my books in college. Book rental is the most genius thing for college students. The books are %40-%90 off bookstore prices, there is free shipping, you can do whatever you normally would with your purchased books like highlight, you can rent them as long as you need, plus at the end of a semester you don't need to keep a heavy book you won't use again!

When I was in school, as an accounting student, I did all the math to see if the book rental actually made financial sense. Seriously it does! Even if you sell back a book to your campus store at the end of the year you still will have paid more out of pocket in the long-term than you would with renting!

The cool thing about renting through Campus Books is that a portion of your rental goes back to charity, Operation Smile!

They also have a new feature on their site called Rent Back which even I should take advantage of!
RentBack is a new initiative that allows students to rent the textbooks they own - to other students... which is awesome because it makes you 2-4x more money compared to what you could make through buyback options!

If you would like to learn more check out the video below!

What do you think? Do you rent your Textbooks?
