The Failed Diet Plan

This weekend the hubs and I started our first ever "diet". Now I'm only 23 and I always thought that was a little early to start dieting. I love what I eat, and try constantly to eat well. Our diet was called "the Plan" basically the point was that you put so many toxins in your body that you should flush them, detox, and then slowly add in new foods to see how your body reacts. Not everything that's "good for you" is actually good for you!
Well we failed! By half way through day two I was dying, I've never had a worse headache or felt so bad in my life! It also wasn't going to get any better seeing as a lot of the foods to eat I don't even like! Also the hubs is thin and a big eater, we just wanted to try the diet but didn't need to. Sooo we learned a few good lessons from the book and are goin to try to incorporate some of them. But man does it feel good to eat again! I'm not sure how people do it! (I'm not a big eater, nor did I need to loose weight, it was more to understand what sits well with my body and what does not.)
Anyways I hope you all had an amazing Fourth weekend! This summer is just flying!

Oh boy, those detox things are not my favorite. I can never get though the whole week. I have been able to change my eating habits by just being more aware of what and how much I eat. It's really the how much that will get you.

I really think most 'diets' are shams. It's all about eating in moderation and healthy habits. You can definitely eat what you like just know when not to over indulge ;)
