I adore the color black. It is my favorite color in my wardrobe! This weekend I was at
Marshalls and I snagged 3 things....all of them, black.
A few weekends ago I went to an art show at our local modern art museum,
UICA. You could walk around and bid on artwork that was made there during the show! My mom and I decided to go "funky" (yes we are "too" hip) this year instead of fancy. So I of course threw on my favs...black and white (outfit coming soon to the blog).
Well the week after I kept seeing posts about the new spring trend "

Marrionberry even did a "
trend of the month" on it
here) I almost died with excitement. I have been so busy the past few weeks that I haven't spent much time reading blogs or fashion sites, so honestly I had no idea. Below are some of my favorite looks, and you can be sure you will be seeing this trend

black and white is such a classic combination you can never have too much black and white in your closet except those striped pants they aren't my fav
i'm wearing black and white right now! but it's actually black pjs and a white tee! oh the joys of sickness. blahhhh. hehe
