Cashmere Winter

A few things about a Michigan Winter:

Driving in the snow is a way of life. When we went to Connecticut last weekend it was amusing how terrible people were about driving in snow. Even the schools closed! Here schools don't closed unless you get a foot of snow...and even then chances are slim.

Wearing anything but boots is rare. You will slip, it is guaranteed, if you were high heels  If you don't slip your feet will be freezing. They should create high healed shoes specific for walking in the snow...that'd be nice.

Not leaving the house on a Saturday is socially acceptable. It's cold, who would want to bundle up? The couch is cozy-er.

You may wish you were wearing cute outfits but resorting to the warmest thing in your closet is the norm.

Don't get me wrong I really do enjoy Michigan, but reading other peoples blogs it gets a little depressing lol. I've seen bloggers in t-shirts. Seriously its February.... I'm also completely jealous of Teika, she still manages to get pictures in this winter although have you noticed her posts are few and far between, yeah because its cold!

And so in this ridiculousness (ps. that's actually a word in autocorrect?!) I wear cashmere and try to pull of nice shoes for church. Which I realized was a bad decision when I walked out the door. Oh well!
