Goals

I am taking a mini break from the blog towards the end of this month. And by mini break I mean I probably won't post 5 days a week like usual.

We have to finish our floors in our house and paint by next Saturday when we move. After we move we have to clean the old apartment. All while doing this we will be without internet!! Hence the mini break ;)

I do have some goals in the future for my bloggy that I thought Id share, im not going away anytime soon!!

1. Layout revamp needs to be done asap!
2. Start a series?!
3. Advertise more for blog sponsors. I have had the same ones for a few months now
4. Piggy backing on 3: be better to my sponsors, support them!!
5. More giveaways!
6. New outfits: an arsenal (Ive been planning and planning I just need to take pictures!)

So will you all stay with me through this process? Love you all!!

I Got a House for my Birthday!

Hey lovers!

If you haven't noticed yet with my instagram feed, tweets and lack of posts, Ive been busy!!

House work is no joke! By the time I get home at night I cash out! The other night I went to bed at 10, that is so early for me!!

Well yesterday was my birthday so I have been busy with all sorts of parties on top of house work!

I just wanted to drop in and say hi ;) I also want to share with you some house Ideas we have, because I need color scheme help!!

Have you heard of the website Houzz? Well its like a pinterest for houses and there is an app so I have been using that alot! Below are a few of my "pins"

Our dinning room furniture is very "rustic" so I love this photo because its similar! I want a huge light over the table for sure!

We bought our house yesterday!! So we immediatly starting packing!

We are hoping to move out next weekend ahhhh! I am going to try so hard to post regularly but with moving and bday parties (My bday is Monday) up we shall see what happens!

As soon as we move this blog is going back up on my priorities list. I am hopping for an office where I will have the space to work on some great blog posts I have stashed in the back of my head!!

I wanted to give a shout out to my bro today though! He just released his first studio album and I thought Id share it with you all because I am super proud ;)

If you like rap music / hiphop you should check it out you can even download it if you like it!

Just a quick post about a store I was introduced to!

It is an online store called Van Mildert.

They sell all designer clothing but at a great price!

As I am getting older I am finding that designer brand clothes often last a lot longer and our better for the office.

I bet you didn't know I was a serious name brand junkie?!

I like to mix in name brands, when and if I can afford them, with some thrifted pieces to keep me trendy, on a budget, and looking good!!

Well I bring up this store because I have a birthday coming up and I have been trying to decide what I am going to purchase with my birthday money! And Van Mildert has some great sale items!!

A New Season the Same Outfit!

Have you ever worn the same outfit twice?

Surprise, I do! Actually most people on do ;)

Sometimes its hard to be super blogger and come up with brand new outfits. And sometimes I really want to wear the same outfit again. Since this is an everyday fashion blog I figured why not show you I wear the same thing more than once hahaha.

What I learned: weekend in review

Best weekend ever!!

Friday I took off of work for lollapolloza!! Sooo much fun!!

Saturday matisyahu show, even better!!

But I learned a few things... Maybe I'm getting old?!?

1. I can only drink a beer or so but coke is so much better! Haha for being 22 I can't believe I'm giving up beer for soda!

2. I go to sleep too early! We won free tickets when we got to lolla for an after show to tuneyardz we wanted to go sooo bad but a show at 11 Chicago time is 12 our time which means we wouldn't get home till after 5 am so we skipped it but we got our sleep at least ;)

3. I am not in shape!! Standing up all day Friday equaled mad back aches! More standing Saturday made all my muscles ache! lots of Ib profen and heating pads have helped a ton haha but maybe I need help?!


So I leave you with this to sum up probably the best weekend I've ever had with my babes!! Groupies fo life! (although I may need a lil more work outs! ha)

So a little disclaimer the house is dated! We need to do some major updating but the bones are great :)

I never thought I would end up in a ranch but it is a great starter home and has major potential.

Floral Shorts and Wedges

Ive noticed recently...

Having a full time job and blogging is hard work!

Then with it being summer and all that just adds another layer! I feel bad because I have amazing viewers and I don't feel like I give amazing content all of the time. I have some major blog goals for this year!

Ps. Sorry for the wack layout my original tweaked out last week while I was camping and I have yet to find time to fix it :( opps talk about no time!!

Well yesterday was the hubs and I's 2 year. We are going to lollapolooza on Friday to see some of our favorite bands: Shins, Metric, M83, Passion Pit and then the hubs won tickets to Matisyahu for saturday night!! So we kept our anniversary low key ;)

We went to Holihanns for dinner and watched some Olympics!

I decided to try something I've seen on so many blogs, Wedges with shorts, for dinner.

I still can't decide if I accomplished the look as well as some but I did feel very fun and funky, that counts for something right..??
