Just sporting a regular ol' outfit.
Nothing special today. But I do feel like I master the classic work outfit :)
I finally busted out a pair of shoes I haven't worn in so long!
T-strap blue green and camel!
We finally got rain in the mitten, it was amazing! It is a bit cooler and I'm excited for a family cookout tonight :)
I hope you all are having a great week! I can't believe tomorrow is Friday, so excited for the weekend, we are beaching it!

Peplum: Obsessed
I have a certified obsession with peplum!
It hides everything around the stomach/hips and makes me feel fabulous!!
I just bought this shirt the otherday and I am beyond in love!
I also finally wore my fun shoes during the day. I usually only throw them on at night but Ive been wanting to incorporate them into my outfits because they are comfy and fun, so I did!
My brother and his girlfriend came to town today, I am so excited to see them both!! So if I go all MIA on you again its probably because we were out late bar hopping, that's usually the way we welcome him home ;)

One, Two, Three, Four I Just Got a Pair More!
Ok I don't want to be cocky but I am rollin over my post tittle, sadly its probably the most creative one yet!
So my brain has been running a mile a minuet lately! With the house buying I have so many ideas and I am trying to keep track of them all! I also got like a million things in the mail in the past two weeks and I need to post on some of them, I am trying to keep up! So I apologize for a lil of my crazy in the next weeks haha. At least I have tons of bloggin ideas huh?!
Anyways ... it happened again...
I got another pair of glasses ;)
If you haven't noticed in my pictures I wear a new pair everyday!
Below is a recap of my current 6 if you haven't seen them all.
So Firmoo.com contacted me and asked me to review a pair of glasses and I was eyeing a new pair of tortise glasses so I said yes! Check them out!
Now I am mostly partial to Zenni Optical because that was my first encounter with online glasses shopping but Firmoo is great competition with a different selection!
The glasses fit me perfectly, not to loose or too tight! They also sent a mini screwdriver to adjust them just in case, which I love because its always needed!
The ordering is super easy and the customer service is great. The prices range from $8.00 - $70.00.
My favorite part of their selection is that if you find frames you like, like the shape, you can actually get them in a few different colors! (don't tell the hubs but ill probably order a blue pair in the same shape haha)
Another great feature is that Firmoo has a “Free for New Buyer” program! Below is a little blurb about the site.
Seriously guys, go to the site and cash in on a free pair of specs!!
Want the pair I got? You can get them here!
Need some help on deciding, check out my favs below :)
Happy Shopping!!
Have any extra questions about how it works feel free to contact me, shoot me a tweet or email :)
*This post was sponsored by Firmoo, all opinions are completely my own*

Sweet as Honey: Getting to Grips with Waxing
Sorry for the long blog absence, we bought a house!!
I have been trying to get caught up on my blogging so thankfully I have a guest poster for one more day till I can finish other posts. Please bare with me!!
Ill post pictures soon we close in probably 2 weeks!
Today Sophie is guest blogging for me :) read her bio below!
Sophie Banat, 25 years old from the UK. MSc graduate in Psychology, interested in fashion, beauty and all things knitted. For more top tips tweet @Scramboodle.

Sweet
as Honey: Getting to Grips with Waxing
When it comes to
hair removal there are many different approaches, from depilation creams and
shaving to the art of threading and of course waxing. Which approach to use is
a distinctly personal choice and will often depend on the area of the body to
be treated, skin type and thickness of the hair.
Wax
away
For many women, waxing is the quickest
and easiest method of removing hair, providing a semi-permanent result that can
last between one and two weeks. Waxing can apply to many different parts of the
body, but is most often used to remove hair growth from the legs, the bikini
line area and the eyebrows.
One of the main reasons waxing has
become so popular is that it has the ability to adapt to different areas of the
body; for instance, a hard wax that dries and hardens on the skin is often
applied to sensitive parts of the body so that the beautician doesn't need to
use strips of fabric to remove the wax.
As waxing methods become more numerous,
the number of available waxes is rising in tandem. Customers can now order from
a range of wax treatments, some of which contain tea tree oil, which is ideal
for people with sensitive skin. Other waxes contain extra moisturising
ingredients or delicate scents.
Wax
with honey
As noted above, there are plenty of
options available to beauty-conscious customers. However, for a more natural
approach to waxing and especially to prevent dry skin after hair removal, many
experts recommend honey
wax. This wax can be prepared and used at home with a mixture of 1tbs of
sugar, 3tbs of honey and around 4tbs of water. This mixture should be boiled
until all of the sugar melts into a brown thick liquid.
This liquid can then be poured very
carefully into a foil-lined bowl and left for ten minutes before use. During
this time, prepare your own waxing strips out of wax paper, ensuring that you
leave these beside you. Remember that using honey as a waxing agent requires
the skin to be dry and free from any oils or lotions, so prepare the skin
carefully and always be extra careful when handling the hot honey.
Apply the mixture to the chosen area and
put a wax strip over the top. Keep it there for up to ten minutes. After this
time take a slow deep breath and pull the strip away from the skin. Repeat this
process until the hair is removed and wash the area, first with warm water,
then with cold.
Although this process is simple and cost
effective and though honey is an easy ingredient to get hold of it's wise to
remember that the honey must be heated to just the right temperature. Too cold
and the waxing process won't work, too hot and the skin will be badly burnt. To
really enjoy the benefits of this natural approach to waxing it's often best to
go to a beauty salon first and learn how it's done by the experts.

Fits Like a Glove!
The Goodwill outlet is the best place ever!
Do you have one by you?
They weigh your goods and it's about $0.10 a pound!
I got this dress awhile ago and haven't worn it I just grabbed it because it was my size and $0.10 :)
Well I finally put it on the other day and it is the MOST comfortable dress ever!
I am in love!
My hubs actually took my pics too! I am hopping he continues to be so nice :)
So tomorrow is a big day for the hubs! Another day camp for church. Hopefully I can write another post before that!

Bulletin Board Revamp
Sorry for the brief absence! 4th of July weekend got away from me.
We spent the entire weekend trying to find a way to stay cool. It was insane, biggest heat wave in 10 years!
Thankfully our neighbors lent us an air conditioner so I can function and write more posts ;)
So I am offering you a Monday Tutorial!
Bulletin Board Revamp!
I have had this bulletain board just sitting in a corner of our apartment for about a year. We used to use it but it wasn't very attractive.
So I decided to revamp it as a gift for my sister who was moving into her first house with friends.
Supplies:
Paint
Paint Brush
Bulletin Board
Fabric
Glue Gun
Sand Paper
Directions:
1. Sand the surface of the board. I learned this the hard way, if there is a shine the paint won't stick.
2. Tape off white board so you don't get paint on it.
3. Prime and Paint. I put on white paint first so the blue showed up. It took a few coats but since it was craft paint it dried fast.
4. Cut the fabric to the correct size. I used an exacto knife to make the marks where I needed to cut.
5. Use something to force the fabric under the edges. Make sure its stressed well without wrinkles.
6. Hot Glue any crevices and corners so the fabric stays in place.
I loved the finish product. I kinda wish I kept it for myself :)
Look out for a cheap bulletin board at your local thrift store, it's easy to make look brand new!
How was your weekend? I hope you stayed cool!
