Let me Count the Ways!

This week has been great!

Let me count the ways...

1. I won two giveaways in the past few weeks and got the boxes in the mail this week!

2. I won a $50 giftcard to shabby apple from The Forge Style blog, I cashed it in for new shoes :)

3. I also one a stick of Revlon lipstick in neon pink from Currently Coveting. This lipstick is amazing! I haven't found a good one yet and this is my new favorite! Check out this {link} for some of Erin's other favorites, I am going to go buy some soon!

4. I also went on a small inexpensive online shopping spree ;) I have a bunny iphone case coming soon, you know the one from New Girl? I also bought this neon pink maxi, found on The Daybook. I can't wait till those come in the mail :)

5. Lastly I got accepted for the Oasap program so I have a free necklace coming soon! Click the sidebar to check it out!

I kinda wish I had my lipstick when I wore this dress it would have looked sooo good!

This dress is my favorite summer dress!! Although when I got to work I realized it was covered in cat hair, it still makes me smile!

Minty Keen

You guys I found a Mint Shirt! In the best place ever, my closet :)

I have had this tank for ages and I kind of just forgot about it, it seemed drab.

Well I got these awesome shoes in New Orleans and they actually don't go with as much as I had planned haha but for $10.00 I am not complaining. 

However I needed something fun and new, re-purpose what was in my closet to save me from going shopping.

So I came up with this, and I was loving it!

Although how come a man came up to me at church and asked if I could run in these shoes...are they really that tall?

But really though, don't wear tall shoes to church, I had about 5 people comment on them, and not in the "oh those are sooo cute" way but the "oh my those are tall....i could never wear those....youngsters" ok not the youngsters part but something similar ;)

I am also in love with my new InPink earrings that I got with a giftcard that I won from J's Everyday Fashion.

maybe that's why my friend, the elementary teacher, loved this outfit ;)

I love this floral skirt, someone DIY'ed it then I bought it at goodwill!

It's an oldie but one of my favorite summer skirts!

I am also obsessed with my black glasses from Zenni Optical I wear them everyday!!

I am BACK!

I am so happy I am finally feeling better!

I literally sleep all weekend and I knocked out the flu. Yes the flu in June, it stunk!

I hope none of you got the cold, I know it's going around!

I have so many outfit photos stocked up that I haven't been able to edit, I couldn't even look at my computer screen when I was sick!

ps. couldn't crop the pics because Cotton got in them, adorable!

Getting Sick is Only Good for Hours of Pinteresting!

Ugh.

I got the sickness! I have an awful cold, thanks to my wonderful husband who works with kids!

My Love For Summer Shorts

I just realized the other day I only have two pairs of shorts for the summer.

Two.

I don't really enjoy shorts. They aren't always attractive. I don't feel comfortable wearing them to work.

And to be honest they aren't as breezy as summer dresses!

However everyone needs a few pairs of shorts for the days when you just don't want to put a dress on!

House Hunting Woes

It is sad that we have yet to find a house!

I know a lot of people searching that seem to find the place they like so fast and we seem to be dragging our feet!

Last week we looked at 4 houses that were a lot more than our original budget just beacuse we were giving up, hoping that they would be perfect.

Buuuut they were not perfect.


I am beginning to realize that the perfect house I have been searching for just doesn't exist.

So this past weekend I have been scouring inspiration websites to get my creative juices flowing!

We are looking at 4 really really cheap houses this week, that need ALOT  of work! But I am hoping with inspiration I will see my "perfect" house!
